SSG is always looking for skilled, card-holding fire and security engineers to join our register for ongoing commercial project work.

We work with self-employed engineers and subcontract labour across all five of our core installation disciplines. If you hold a current ECS or CSCS card and have demonstrable commercial installation experience, we want to hear from you.
Projects are based predominantly in London and the South East, though we do take on work nationally. We operate on a clear Purchase Order basis — you know what you're being paid and what the scope of work is before you start.
Following initial contact, you'll be invited to complete our standard onboarding process, after which you'll be added to the SSG engineer register and contacted when suitable work arises.

Initial contact

Onboarding pack
You'll receive our standard onboarding documentation — NDA, terms of engagement, PAYE/CIS information, right to work check. Nothing complicated.
On the register
Once onboarded, you'll be added to the SSG engineer register and contacted when work matching your trade and location becomes available.
Clear Purchase Orders
Every piece of work is issued on a written Purchase Order with defined scope, site, dates and rate. You'll know what you're getting paid before you start.
